Refund policy

BIGBOOST TURBO RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Effective Date: July 30, 2020

This Return and Refund Policy applies to all products purchased from BigBoost, LLC, doing business as BigBoost Turbo. By placing an order with BigBoost Turbo, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees to this policy.

1. Return Authorization Required

All returns require prior authorization from BigBoost Turbo.

Before shipping any product back, the customer must contact BigBoost Turbo and obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization, also referred to as an RMA.

Products shipped without an approved RMA may be refused and returned to the sender at the sender’s expense.

Issuing an RMA does not guarantee that a return will be accepted or credited. Final eligibility is determined after BigBoost Turbo receives and inspects the returned product.

2. 30-Day Return Period

Eligible returns must be authorized, shipped, and received by BigBoost Turbo within 30 calendar days of the original invoice date.

A return is not considered completed merely because the customer contacted BigBoost Turbo or received an RMA. The product must be received by BigBoost Turbo within the 30-day return period.

Products received after the 30-day period are not eligible for return, refund, exchange, or store credit unless BigBoost Turbo provides written approval.

3. Return Condition Requirements

To qualify for return consideration, merchandise must be:

  • Unused.
  • Uninstalled.
  • Unmodified.
  • Undamaged.
  • Complete.
  • In new and resalable condition.
  • Free from installation marks, scratches, fluids, exhaust residue, heat exposure, tool marks, or other evidence of use.
  • Returned with all original packaging, hardware, fittings, accessories, instructions, documentation, and included components.

Products that have been installed, test-fitted in a manner that causes visible marks, operated, disassembled, modified, damaged, or returned incomplete are not eligible for return.

BigBoost Turbo determines return eligibility after inspecting the product.

4. Restocking Fee

Eligible merchandise returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

The restocking fee is calculated from the purchase price of the returned merchandise before shipping, taxes, duties, installation, or other charges.

Additional deductions may apply for:

  • Missing packaging.
  • Missing hardware or accessories.
  • Damaged packaging.
  • Cleaning.
  • Repackaging.
  • Product damage.
  • Incomplete components.
  • Vendor charges.
  • Payment-processing charges.
  • Other costs required to restore the product to a resalable condition.

BigBoost Turbo may reject any return that cannot reasonably be restored to new and resalable condition.

5. Refund Method

Approved merchandise returns are generally issued as BigBoost Turbo store credit toward future purchases.

Cash refunds are not provided for returned merchandise unless:

  • Required by applicable law.
  • Approved in writing by BigBoost Turbo management.
  • The return resulted from an error made by BigBoost Turbo and management determines that a refund is appropriate.

Any approved refund will be issued to the original payment method whenever reasonably possible.

Banks, credit-card companies, financing providers, and payment processors may require additional time to post an approved refund.

6. Original Shipping Charges

Original shipping, handling, insurance, expedited service, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and other delivery-related charges are non-refundable.

The customer is responsible for all return-shipping expenses unless BigBoost Turbo confirms in writing that the return resulted from an error made by BigBoost Turbo.

7. Return Shipping Responsibility

The customer is responsible for:

  • Properly packaging the returned product.
  • Paying return-shipping costs.
  • Purchasing adequate shipping insurance.
  • Using a trackable shipping method.
  • Retaining tracking and delivery documentation.
  • Protecting the product from damage during return transportation.

BigBoost Turbo is not responsible for products that are lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged during return shipment.

Freight-collect and cash-on-delivery return shipments will not be accepted.

Damage occurring during return transportation may cause the return to be rejected or the available credit to be reduced.

8. Custom, Special-Order, and Made-to-Order Products

Custom, special-order, and made-to-order products may only be cancelled during the first five calendar days after the order is placed.

An approved cancellation during the first five days is subject to a 6% cancellation and processing fee.

After five calendar days from the date of order placement, all custom, special-order, and made-to-order products are non-cancellable, non-returnable, and non-refundable.

This policy applies even when the product has not yet shipped.

Custom, special-order, and made-to-order products include, but are not limited to:

  • Custom turbo systems.
  • Custom manifolds.
  • Custom fabrication.
  • Custom exhaust components.
  • Modified or personalized components.
  • Custom coatings or finishes.
  • Built assemblies.
  • Products manufactured specifically for the customer.
  • Products purchased from a supplier specifically for the customer.
  • Products configured according to customer-selected specifications.

Material purchasing, supplier commitments, scheduling, fabrication, machining, coating, assembly, and production planning may begin immediately after an order is placed.

Estimated lead times are estimates only. A production or supplier delay does not make a custom, special-order, or made-to-order product eligible for cancellation, return, or refund.

9. General Order Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible and are not guaranteed.

For products that are not custom, special-order, or made-to-order:

  • An approved cancellation requested within the first 10 calendar days after order placement is subject to a 6% cancellation and processing fee.
  • An approved cancellation requested more than 10 calendar days after order placement is subject to a 10% cancellation and processing fee.

An order cannot be cancelled after it has:

  • Shipped.
  • Been completed.
  • Entered final assembly.
  • Been transferred to a supplier for fulfillment.
  • Had non-recoverable materials committed.
  • Otherwise become non-cancellable.

Shipping charges, payment-processing charges, supplier fees, material costs, and other non-recoverable expenses may also be deducted.

10. Non-Returnable Products

The following products are not eligible for return, refund, or store credit:

  • Custom products after the five-day cancellation period.
  • Special-order products after the five-day cancellation period.
  • Made-to-order products after the five-day cancellation period.
  • Custom fabrication.
  • Custom manifolds.
  • Custom coatings or finishes.
  • Installed products.
  • Used products.
  • Modified products.
  • Disassembled products.
  • Damaged products.
  • Incomplete products.
  • Products contaminated with oil, coolant, fuel, exhaust residue, or other substances.
  • Products showing installation or tool marks.
  • Electronic merchandise.
  • Discontinued products.
  • Clearance products.
  • Blowout products.
  • Final-sale products.
  • Promotional products identified as non-returnable.
  • Specially priced or quantity-discounted products identified as final sale.
  • Products returned without their original packaging, hardware, accessories, or documentation.
  • Products damaged because of improper packaging during return transportation.

11. Incorrect or Missing Products

Customers must inspect their order immediately after delivery.

Any incorrect product, missing component, or order discrepancy must be reported to BigBoost Turbo promptly after delivery.

The customer may be required to provide:

  • The order number.
  • Photographs of the product.
  • Photographs of the packaging.
  • Photographs of the shipping label.
  • Part numbers.
  • A description of the discrepancy.
  • Other information reasonably requested by BigBoost Turbo.

Do not install, modify, or use a product believed to be incorrect. Installing or modifying the product may eliminate return eligibility.

If BigBoost Turbo confirms that the wrong product was shipped, BigBoost Turbo will determine the appropriate remedy.

12. Products Damaged During Shipping

Shipping damage must be reported immediately after delivery.

The customer must retain:

  • The original box.
  • Internal packaging.
  • Shipping labels.
  • Damaged components.
  • Photographs of the package and product.
  • Tracking and delivery information.

The customer may be required to cooperate with the shipping carrier’s inspection and claims process.

Failure to retain packaging or provide requested evidence may result in denial of the claim.

A shipping-damage claim is separate from a standard merchandise return and remains subject to carrier inspection and claim requirements.

13. Refused Shipments

Refusing delivery does not create an automatic right to a refund, return, exchange, or store credit.

A refused shipment may be subject to:

  • A $35 refused-shipment fee.
  • Original shipping charges.
  • Return shipping charges.
  • Carrier charges.
  • Customs charges.
  • Brokerage fees.
  • Storage fees.
  • Applicable restocking fees.
  • Other expenses incurred by BigBoost Turbo.

The customer’s account may be placed on hold until all applicable charges have been paid.

14. International Returns

International customers are responsible for all costs associated with a return, including:

  • Return transportation.
  • Insurance.
  • Duties.
  • Taxes.
  • Brokerage fees.
  • Customs processing.
  • Import or export documentation.
  • Government charges.
  • Currency-conversion or payment-processing charges.

BigBoost Turbo is not responsible for customs delays, rejected export shipments, unpaid duties, or packages abandoned by the customer.

Duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and other importation costs are non-refundable.

International returns must still be authorized and received within the applicable 30-day return period.

15. Warranty Claims Are Not Standard Returns

A warranty claim is not the same as a merchandise return.

Products submitted for warranty evaluation may require inspection, testing, photographs, installation records, tuning records, invoices, data logs, or other supporting documentation.

Warranty evaluation does not guarantee repair, replacement, credit, or refund.

For an approved warranty claim, BigBoost Turbo may choose to:

  • Repair the eligible product.
  • Replace the eligible product.
  • Provide BigBoost Turbo store credit.
  • Provide another remedy permitted by the applicable written warranty.

BigBoost Turbo does not cover labor, diagnosis, product removal, product installation, shipping, towing, vehicle downtime, rental vehicles, loss of use, or related expenses under warranty.

All such costs remain the responsibility of the purchaser.

16. Core Returns

Core returns are separate from standard merchandise returns.

Eligible cores must generally be received within 30 days of the applicable invoice unless different written terms are provided.

Returned cores must be:

  • Complete.
  • Correct for the applicable product.
  • In rebuildable condition.
  • Free from damage that makes rebuilding impractical.

All cores are inspected and tested. BigBoost Turbo determines whether a core qualifies and the amount of available core credit.

Approved core credit is applied toward future BigBoost Turbo purchases. Cash refunds are not authorized for core returns.

17. Processing Time

Return inspections and credit processing begin after the product is delivered to BigBoost Turbo.

Processing time may vary depending on:

  • Product condition.
  • Completeness.
  • Inspection requirements.
  • Manufacturer involvement.
  • Warranty testing.
  • Shipping claims.
  • Payment-provider processing.
  • Missing information.

Customers should retain their return tracking information until the return has been fully processed.

18. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers must contact BigBoost Turbo and allow a reasonable opportunity to address an order, cancellation, return, shipping, or warranty concern before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

Submitting a chargeback does not eliminate the customer’s obligations under this Return and Refund Policy.

BigBoost Turbo may provide the customer’s order information, communications, tracking, delivery confirmation, policy acceptance, production records, and other relevant documentation to the payment provider when responding to a dispute.

19. Racing Competition Use

All BigBoost Turbo products are intended exclusively for racing competition use.

Products are not represented as legal for use on public streets or highways.

The purchaser is solely responsible for lawful installation, possession, operation, and use.

20. Policy Changes

BigBoost Turbo may update this Return and Refund Policy without prior notice.

The policy in effect on the date the order is placed generally applies to that transaction unless applicable law requires otherwise.
