The BigBoost N55 Stage 3 Turbo Kit replaces the limitations of the factory-style hybrid turbo with a true full-frame turbo system designed for higher power, improved efficiency, and long-term performance.
Unlike a hybrid turbo that retains the factory turbine housing and packaging limitations, a full-frame setup gives you a larger turbine section, improved exhaust flow, lower back pressure, and more room to increase power without pushing the turbocharger beyond its efficient operating range.

Hybrid turbos can provide fast spool and a simple installation, but they remain limited by the size and flow capacity of the factory housing.

Modular and Upgradeable

Because the system uses a full-frame turbocharger and external wastegate configuration, you can upgrade or service individual components without replacing the complete turbo system. This gives you more flexibility as your power goals change.
Engineered Twin-Scroll Manifold
Our twin-scroll manifold uses 1.5-inch runners for all six cylinders. The manifold maintains proper exhaust pulse separation and directs exhaust energy efficiently into the divided turbine housing.
The twin-scroll configuration supports strong turbo response while providing the airflow capacity required for higher-power N55 applications.
Tested Under Real Conditions
We completed extensive in-house testing while measuring individual cylinder exhaust gas temperatures and exhaust back pressure.
During testing, our system produced approximately 1.11:1 to 1.12:1 exhaust back pressure ratios. These results demonstrate the efficiency of the manifold and turbine system under the tested conditions.
Lower back pressure helps reduce exhaust restriction, improves cylinder evacuation, and allows the engine to operate more efficiently at higher power levels.
Our turbo systems have also been used in race vehicles competing in six-hour to twelve-hour endurance events. These applications place sustained thermal and mechanical loads on the engine and turbo system, providing valuable real-world validation beyond short dyno runs.
No Water Pump Relocation
Many full-frame N55 turbo systems require relocating the factory electric water pump to create additional clearance.
The BigBoost N55 kit keeps the water pump in its original factory location.
This reduces installation complexity, limits unnecessary changes to the cooling system, and preserves the original water pump mounting and routing.
